Hi! My name is Jalyssa Duchaine.
Did you know that painting has been my hobby since I was a child? Growing up in Kitchener-Waterloo, I always loved art throughout elementary and high school. After graduating, I went to hair school and worked as a hairstylist for over 13 years, becoming passionate about colours, tones, and shades!
However, I have always loved re-finishing and painting old furniture such as dressers and cabinets that I picked up from the side of the road, or re-purposing entire kitchens cabinets from top to bottom - giving them a fresh look without having to spend my life savings.
So a few years ago I decided it was time to switch from hairbrushes to paintbrushes and make my dream a reality: owning a furniture and kitchen refinishing business to help people bring life back into their homes. 3 years and dozens of kitchens and furniture later, I am ready to help you refinish yours!
